We are one of the UK’s leading air source heat pump installers. We have fitted over 5000 air source heat pumps making our engineers some of the most experienced technical experts in the country.
In-house engineers and training academy
We pride ourselves on developing our people to be at the cutting edge of the renewable energy market. Our in-house engineers are all fully qualified and constantly trained to the highest standards through our in-house academy. This is important, not only for the installation of our renewable energy products, but also for their maintenance and repair.

Meet the Team
Phil Pallister
CEO
Phil is a qualified gas engineer who started his working life at British Gas. He joined the Group in 2010 to develop the Home Services division, and still enjoys day-to-day responsibility for all its operations, client management and business development.
Erik Coates
Energy Services Director
Erik is an MBA graduate who has worked in the energy efficiency arena for more than 25 years. In his nine years at EAGA, he managed the operational delivery of the Government’s £1.8bn Warm Front scheme. Erik joined the group in 2017 and is responsible for the Energy Company Obligation and other central and local government energy efficiency schemes.
Jason Oakes
Sales Director
Jason is a former Newcastle Falcons player and is an industry leader in renewable energy systems. Jason is a qualified gas engineer with 13 years of renewable experience across the industry. Jason joined the group in 2018 and is responsible for group sales.
Kevin Nicol
Compliance Director
With over 25 years’ experience in electrical appliance and construction sectors at Northern Electric and EAGA before joining the group, Kevin ensures group compliance for GDPR and data protection, all accreditations, certifications and registrations for all our skillsets. As our Carbon Champion, he is focused on sustainability and impacts as part of our corporate social responsibility.
Nik Smith
Director
With over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC Industry and extensive experience in renewables having worked across various continents delivering major complex projects Nik joined the group in early 2023 and manages the Oakes business. Nik holds Chartered Engineering status by the UK Engineering Council as well as being a voting member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.
Michael Pallister
Operations Manager
Michael is a qualified Gas Engineer who began his working career at British Gas within the Service & Repair division. He joined PHS in 2015 to support and develop the growth of the Home Services division. During a successful period of rapid growth since joining the business, Michael has been appointed to Operations Director.
