Here are the list of our ‘Frequently Asked Questions’, you can choose which ‘Category’ of questions your interested in by selecting a category on the right.

  • Are you insured?
    • Yes, we carry £5m of public liability insurance.

  • Do you have CORGI/Gas Safe registered engineers?
    • Yes all of our engineers who work on gas appliances are Corgi/Gas Safe qualified

  • Do you work evenings and weekends?
    • Yes, we work evenings and weekends for which we charge a premium over our usual rates (see the booking form for details).

  • Do your engineers come with all the right tools?
    • Yes! All our engineers carry a full range of tools to tackle a huge number of different jobs. They also carry a wide selection of parts on their van so that your appliance can be back up and running as soon as possible.

  • Does this include materials?
    • No - materials are extra. Most customers use us purely as a labour service, but we are happy to fetch particular parts for you if needed. We add a mark-up to parts we supply to reflect the fact that we are using our expertise to select and find the right materials.

  • How can I pay?
    • We accept cash, cheque, credit card or debit card.

  • How quickly can you come out?
    • We aim to be with you within a couple of days although a lot of our appointments are booked for the next day or an appointment to suit your busy life.

  • What areas do you cover?
    • We cover the whole of the UK, currently our franchisees are in designated areas throughout the UK but don’t worry if we haven’t got an 0800Repair franchisee in your area then we will send out one of our approved subcontractors who has been vetted to provide you with an excellent level of service.

  • Will I have to wait in all day for the franchisee to turn up?
    • No — our franchisee will call you to let you know what time they will be calling, generally this is just as they are leaving the last repair giving you enough time to get back home We are nearly always on time, but sometimes (particularly towards the end of the day) we might be a little late. But we will always call you well in advance to let you know our revised estimated arrival time.
